Dr Michael Neamtu is an Eastern European conservative author, philosopher, and public intellectual. Born in Transylvania, Michael Neamtu received his M.A. from Durham University (UK) and his PhD in theology from King’s College London. He has written eight books on Conservative politics, Christianity and Islam, as well about new trends in Marxist culture. Some of his scholarly articles have been published by Oxford University Press, Ashgate, and Brepols. After he pursued his post-doctoral studies at Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars (Washington DC) and Russell Kirk Center (Michigan), Dr Neamtu became one of the most prominent voices of young conservatives in Europe. He has contributed to academic events organized by Acton Institute, Liberty Fund, Antigua Forum, National Review Institute, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, and other such bodies. Most of his books defend the values of Western Civilization. During the Summer of 2012, Dr Neamtu has worked closely with the President of Romania, against the socialist, anti-constitutional coalition. As an engaging public speaker, Dr Neamtu addressed small and large crowds. He interacted with thinkers, church leaders, and CEOs across various geographic and cultural lines. He has appeared on Skynews, Euronews, as well as on other news stations and social-media platforms.
